FIFA 17 may have been out for a few months but gamers are still finding out new things about it.
The latest hidden gem comes courtesy if Reddit user whisqey, who noticed something in the loading and arena screens.
During both sections, if you look hard enough, you’ll be able to see the players posing for kit selection.
Not only that, but you’re able to blindly control them, too.
If you manage to score a goal you’re rewarded with a top down view of the net rustle (of the goal at the bottom of the screen of your opponent’s XI).
So, how do you score one, we hear you ask?
As one fan explains: “As soon as you see the opposing teams cards and formation before an Ultimate Team game kicks off, just hold the left stick upwards for a second and the shoot button to almost full power – for some reason you score about 50% of the time.”
Believe it or not, this quirk is not likely a bug.
Rather, it’s easier for EA to have the characters pre-rendered in the background, rather than have to generate the models from scratch in a completely different section.
Either way, it’s a pretty neat feature to show off to your mates.
