FIFA 17 TOTS Update: Team of the Season Ultimate Team Predictions on Web App, PS4 and Xbox

FIFA 17 TOTS Team of the Season Update coming May 12th for Ultimate TeamEA SPORTS

FIFA 17 TOTS Team of the Season Update is coming May 12th for Ultimate Team

FIFA 17 earlier this week announced the start of their Teams of the Season (TOTS), in many ways the curtain call for the game as football seasons come to a close and EA begin work on building hype for , which we already know is coming to .

This all starts tomorrow, May 12th, with the release of the Community Team of the Season. Three special squads coming Gold, Silver and Bronze players, entirely selected by the FIFA community and featuring a selection of players who consistently performed at the top level all year, but who missed out on having a Team of the Week in-form card.

Players like, Tottenham’s Jan Vertonghen and Real Madrid’s Daniel Carvajal who have both been exceptional at the back, but never enough to warrant an In-Form Card.

However, the release of these three squads on Friday is just the tip of the iceberg.

In the coming weeks, EA Sports will also release their Team of the Season for each respective league, in much the same way as the way earlier this year.

That means we’ll certainly be getting a squad for the Premier League, Bundesliga, Calcio A, La Liga, Ligue 1 and possibly a few more along with the Rest of the World squad too.

Unlike the customary Team of the Week squads though, these will also include an exclusive tournament reward 24th TOTS player “a super Bonus SBC that rewards fans for completing special SBCs every week” explains EA Sports, so keep your eyes peeled for that too.

This is just the start though, and you can read on as EA Sports go into more detail about these bonuses just underneath, but in the meantime, take a look at some early Futhead predictions for the Premier League and Calcio A Team of the Season Squads, below.

The 24th TOTS Player

A fan favourite from last year returns! A 24th TOTS player will be available exclusively as a FUT Champions Daily Qualifier Tournament reward on Xbox One, PlayStation4 and PC (Online Tournaments on Xbox 360 and PlayStation®3).

Exclusive really does mean exclusive, the 24th TOTS player will not be available in packs, SBCs or on the transfer market.

The extra player will be available for select leagues only, starting each Monday for the duration of TOTS.

TOTS Bonus Reward SBC

An even bigger reward awaits fans who stay active throughout the entirety of TOTS! Each Tuesday, during TOTS, fans will have 72 hours to complete a new Bonus Reward SBC. The more you complete, the bigger the Bonus reward! Fans who complete ALL Bonus SBCs will get a pack containing a guaranteed TOTS player item! If you’re eligible for a TOTS Bonus SBC Reward, it will be granted to you on June 28th, 2017.

Completing 2 or more TOTS Bonus SBCs will earn you a special reward:

3 TOTS Bonus SBCs – Prime Gold Players Pack (untradeable)
4 TOTS Bonus SBCs – Rare Players Pack (untradeable)

On top of launching the TOTS upgrades this Friday, EA Sports are also launching a brand new project known as EA SPORTS The Pitch.

EA Sports explain that this exciting new YouTube Channel will give fans an inside look into the world of FIFA 17 “from interviews with the most prominent figures within the EA SPORTS FIFA community to the latest news from the EA SPORTS FIFA 17 Ultimate Team Championship Series.

FIFA 17 fans may already be familiar with the two hosts, Wolfy and Mavric, who currently reveal the new Team of the Week squad on Facebook every Friday, and we wouldn’t rule it out that the dynamic duo are also involved with any future TOTS reveals as well, so make sure you hit that subscribe button on YouTube to ensure you don’t miss a thing.
