FIFA 17 TOTS Team of the Season News UpdateEA SPORTS

The FIFA 17 TOTS (Team of the Season) News is about to come thick and fast in next few weeks

EA Sports kicked off their (Team of the Season) campaign on Friday, starting with the new Community Teams.

These were made up of 3 squads (), entirely selected by the FIFA community and featuring a selection of players who consistently performed at the top level all season, but who failed to attain a Team of the Week in-form card.

In addition to this, the EA Sports FIFA 17 Twitter account has been steadily releasing a variety of surprise Lightning round Player Packs.

But what everyone wants to know is when EA Sports plan to release the various Team of the Season squads from around Europe.

We expect that EA Sports will release a Team of the Season for each respective league, in much the same way as the way earlier this year.

That means we’ll certainly be getting a squad for the British Premier League, Bundesliga, Calcio A, La Liga, Ligue 1 and possibly a few more along with the Rest of the World squad too.

No precise dates have been given on when EA Sports could release these details, but it’s worth noting that FIFA 17’s Winter Upgrades were released sporadically at random times.

It’s possible we could get one in the next 48 hours though. We’ll explain why underneath the gallery.

Unlike the customary Team of the Week squads though, these TOTS squads will also include an exclusive tournament reward 24th TOTS player “a super Bonus SBC that rewards fans for completing special SBCs every week” explains EA Sports, so keep your eyes peeled for that too.

This is just the start though, and you can read on as EA Sports go into more detail about these bonuses just underneath, but in the meantime, take a look at some early Futhead predictions for the Premier League (above).

There’s also some TOTS Bonus Reward SBC’s being lined up.An even bigger reward awaits fans who stay active throughout the entirety of TOTS! Each Tuesday, during TOTS, fans will have 72 hours to complete a new Bonus Reward SBC. The more you complete, the bigger the Bonus reward! Fans who complete ALL Bonus SBCs will get a pack containing a guaranteed TOTS player item! If you’re eligible for a TOTS Bonus SBC Reward, it will be granted to you on June 28th, 2017.

“An even bigger reward awaits fans who stay active throughout the entirety of TOTS! Each Tuesday, during TOTS, fans will have 72 hours to complete a new Bonus Reward SBC.” explained the FIFA website.

“The more you complete, the bigger the Bonus reward! Fans who complete ALL Bonus SBCs will get a pack containing a guaranteed TOTS player item! If you’re eligible for a TOTS Bonus SBC Reward, it will be granted to you on June 28th, 2017.”

Completing 2 or more TOTS Bonus SBCs will earn you a special reward:

2 TOTS Bonus SBCs – Mega Pack (untradeable)
3 TOTS Bonus SBCs – Prime Gold Players Pack (untradeable)
4 TOTS Bonus SBCs – Rare Players Pack (untradeable)
5 TOTS Bonus SBCs – Jumbo Rare Players Pack (untradeable)
6 TOTS Bonus SBCs – Ultimate Pack that includes a guaranteed TOTS Player (untradeable)

Should FIFA 17 start the first TOTS Bonus SBC this Tuesday we would expect the first Team of the Season announcement to take place very soon.

Somewhere between the backdrop of all of the Team of the Season news, website’s were flooded with a potential “Leak” according to The Daily Mirror who first reported the news.

The “leaked” video appeared to show 24-year-old Manchester United ace, Paul Pogba, replacing Borussia Dortmund attacking midfielder Marco Reus as the game’s cover star.

This FIFA 18 clip – available above – unfortunately turned out to be a big fat fake and was actually concept art designed by Twitter user @JamescDZN.

It’s still fun to look at though, teasing a potential new menu interface, a revamped Alex Hunter Journey mode and the addition of FIFA Street, a fan favourite that’s been requested for several years, but in all likelihood won’t return to FIFA 18.

As it stands no one knows who the game’s next cover star will be, but it’s possible that EA Sports could once again put it to the public vote, commencing mid-June following EA’s big E3 Show, dubbed EA Play.

All we really know about FIFA 18 so far, is that it will also come to .
